The Hedman Headers Nostalgic Street Car Class lit up the Las Vegas Motor Speedway strip on September 5^th – 7^th,2014. The competition was stiff and the already blistering blacktop served as excellent proving grounds for the amazing rides of the Hedman class.

After a fierce round of qualifying, the drivers prepped their cars and buckled up for eliminations. Class veterans such as Steve Cox and Mike Nordahl put on an excellent show through the elimination rounds, but it was Jan Vanderpool and his Mustang that would leave Las Vegas victorious with the Wally. The final event of the NMCA West season takes place at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, CA October 24-26, 2014, and four racers are still in the hunt for Hedman Hedders’ coveted Nostalgia Street Car Class Championship Trophy and Ring.

The Hedman Headers Nostalgic Street Car Class Light Up The Strip At Pomona

The second race of the 2014 NMCA West season was a heck of a show, drawing large crowds to a special and rare outing at the Auto Club Raceway in Pomona this past weekend. The Hedman Hedders Nostalgia Street Car class saw an action packed group of 33 drivers make the cut for Sunday’s eliminations with Kale Mallory snagging the number one spot after he battled his way to the top during an intense round of qualifying.

The first race of the 2014 NMCA West season brought drag racing back to the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, CA after a two year hiatus while the track completed construction on the new sound wall.  The Hedman Hedders Nostalgia Street Car class saw a full field of 32 competitors make the finals on Sunday, March 30^th, 2014 after an intense round of qualifying that ended with Dan Ficher taking the top qualifying spot.
